Preventative Dentistry

Root Canal Treatment
A root canal is a dental procedure to save a tooth by removing the infected or inflamed pulp (nerve and blood vessels) inside. The dentist cleans, disinfects, and shapes the hollow canals, then fills and seals them to prevent future infection. Finally, the tooth is sealed, often with a filling or crown, to restore its function and appearance.

Dentist
Dr. Monica Polakhare is a dedicated and compassionate dental professional with over two decades of experience in dentistry, both in India and the United States. She earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree from the University at Buffalo in 2024, her Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) degree from India, in 2002. Her commitment to lifelong learning is evident in her pursuit of continuing education, including programs such as dental implants and Invisalign, along with her ongoing MAGD program at the University of Florida.

Dr. Prakash is an awesome dentist who surely knew how to preserve my troublesome tooth. I had consulted a couple of other dentists about a molar with a root canal that was hurting again and they all told me that getting it extracted and getting an expensive implant was my only option.His staff was very friendly and I had a great experience overall.
